In this project we developed designs to create a better connection between the ground floor of the house and the garden, which due to the slope of the site, is set at a storey below. In the design we proposed to open up part of the ground floor to create a large kitchen/diner with a window seat, balcony and feature stair which provides a good connection to the playroom in the basement conversion below.
