In this project we approached one of Sheffield’s most popular and prevalent house type- the terrace. The end-terrace house had the traditional layout of two ground floor rooms, and our musician clients wanted to create a larger kitchen-diner at the rear, so the living room could be dedicated to use as a music space. By designing a rear extension to comply with Permitted Development Rights, we could incorporate a generous, light galley kitchen and dining/living space. The extension now provides access to the lovely courtyard garden through French windows.
