The large garden belonging to the main house provided plenty of scope to build a self-contained annexe on the site of some outbuildings. The two storey design features an open plan living, dining and kitchen area on the upper floor, with a bedroom, bathroom and workshop below. Designed to appear modest in size and to respect the garden location, the annexe is to be clad in timber and features sustainable technologies including solar panels and rainwater harvesting.
