This substantial period property is located in a Conservation Area, and although it has previously been used as offices it had a lot of potential to be converted into a generous and modern family home. Our clients had already embarked on the first stage of the project, refurbishing the upper floors, and we helped them secure planning permission to convert the ground floor into more space for the residential property and the basement into a personal training and yoga studio. We worked closely with our clients, planning and Building Control to achieve the necessary standards in thermal and acoustic performance, while retaining as many original features, such as the large sash windows, as possible.
